TinyFish Student Program: Tiers, Rewards and How to Join

Every big fish was once a TinyFish. The TinyFish Student Program is a free, global community for students who want to build the future of the web now, not just read about it. You build real AI agents, ship them under your name, and graduate with proof of work, not just a transcript.
TL;DR
- Who it's for: any student, anywhere, with a school or university email. Total beginners are welcome.
- What you get on day one: $35 in your TinyFish wallet, access to the Bounty Board, and a gift card for every approved build.
- How you grow: get 3 builds approved and you become a Student Builder automatically, with an official LinkedIn certification. Top builders are invited to become Campus Leads, with a paid budget to run events.
- How to join: sign up at tinyfish.ai/students with your school email and a password.
- Your dashboard: TinyBounties is where you claim bounties, track your progress and see the leaderboard.
What is the TinyFish Student Program?
The TinyFish Student Program is the campus track of the TinyFish community. TinyFish is a set of APIs that let AI agents use the live web: Search, Fetch, Agent, Browser and Monitor. Students use them to build agents that do real things, like finding internships, comparing prices or booking study rooms.
It runs on a simple loop that repeats every month:
- Pick a challenge from the shared Bounty Board. New bounties drop at the start of each month.
- Build a small app, agent Skill or prompt with TinyFish.
- Ship it where the whole community can see it, under your name.
That's how you learn: by making things people actually use, next to builders all over the world.
How the Student Program works
Everyone starts as a Student, and you grow by building, not by applying.
| Tier | How you get there | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Student | Sign up with your school email | $35 in your TinyFish wallet, the Bounty Board, gift cards for approved builds, name credit on every build, office hours, a spot on the leaderboard |
| 2. Student Builder | 3 approved builds (automatic) | Everything above, plus an official TinyFish LinkedIn certification, more credits and a direct line to the TinyFish team |
| 3. Campus Lead | Invited from the campus leaderboard | Everything above, plus a verified Campus Lead badge, a paid event budget, a Hall of Fame listing, and reference letters, intros and internship priority |

Sign up with your school email. That's all it takes.

- $35 in your TinyFish wallet to start building
- Access to the Bounty Board
- A gift card for every approved build
- A build log and social posts from TinyFish crediting you by name for every approved build
- Your builds featured in the TinyFish Build Library, with your name on them
- Student community office hours
- A spot on the live leaderboard
Tier 2: Student Builder
Get 3 of your builds approved and you're promoted to Student Builder automatically.
What you get, on top of everything above:
- An official TinyFish LinkedIn certification
- More credits unlocked
- A direct line to the TinyFish Engineering and Growth teams
Tier 3: Campus Lead
Campus Leads are invited from the campus leaderboard. They host TinyFish events on campus and own TinyFish's presence there.
What you get, on top of everything above:
- A verified Campus Lead badge for LinkedIn, plus a LinkedIn certification after a successful semester
- A paid budget to run campus events
- A place in the TinyFish Hall of Fame
- Founder reference letters, intros and internship priority
How do students earn from building?
Every approved build on the Bounty Board earns a gift card and adds to your leaderboard score:
| Build type | Gift card | Leaderboard points |
|---|---|---|
| Agentic app | $50 | 50 |
| Agent Skill | $20 | 20 |
| Prompt | $10 | 10 |
Every build that meets the criteria is approved, so there's no single winner, and several students can solve the same bounty. Approved builds are written up in TinyFish's Build Logs under your name.
