FAQs
What is the TinyFish Student Program?
The campus track of our developer ambassador program. You take on monthly agent bounties, build real agents, and join a global community of student builders. It is free to join.
Who can join?
Any currently enrolled student, anywhere in the world. Sign up at agent.tinyfish.ai to start building, then sign in at tinybounties.com for the bounty board, your submissions and your rewards. Accounts created with a .edu address get the student wallet credit automatically; if yours is not .edu, email community@tinyfish.ai and we will sort it out.
What will I build?
Prompts, agentic apps and Skills on the four TinyFish primitives. Search queries the live web and returns clean structured results. Fetch turns any page into structured data. Web Agent runs autonomous multi-step tasks across real websites. Browser drives a real browser when a site needs full control.
How do bounties work?
New bounties drop every month. Claim one, build it, and submit through your dashboard at tinybounties.com. Every submission that meets the criteria is approved, so more than one student can solve the same bounty.
Where do I submit, and how do builds get approved?
Everything happens at tinybounties.com. Sign in to see the open bounties, build it out, post about it on X and LinkedIn, and submit the links. The TinyFish team reviews each submission and marks it approved or rejected, with the reason shown next to it.
What does each approved build earn?
Leaderboard points, publication, and a gift card. Agentic apps earn 50 points and a $50 gift card, Skills earn 20 and $20, and prompts earn 10 and $10. Gift cards go to every student from day one, and no tier is paid in cash.
Do I get a certification I can show employers?
Once you become a Student Builder, you earn an official TinyFish certification for your LinkedIn profile, alongside your published builds and your public leaderboard record.
Is this a good alternative to an internship?
Yes. It runs on your own schedule, and you finish with the same evidence an internship is supposed to produce: proof of work, published projects, and career signals before you graduate.
Can I become a campus ambassador?
Yes. Campus Lead is the campus role, and top builders are invited from the leaderboard to host events and own the TinyFish presence where they study. See How you grow above for what it unlocks.
Is there a student community?
Yes, and it lives in the TinyFish Discord: monthly office hours, and a global group of students shipping agents alongside you.
What happens after I graduate?
Your builds, your certification and your public track record stay yours. You can carry on in the wider TinyFish ambassador program, which has no student requirement, so the work keeps paying off.
