tinyfish ambassador programs

Every big fish was once a TinyFish. The TinyFish Ambassador Program is a free, global community of builders, creators and community leaders who help build the agentic web, and get recognized and rewarded for the impact they make.

It's not a paid-posting gig. There are no scripts and no quotas to start. You build, share what you've made, bring your people along, and rise by real impact.

TL;DR

  • Who it's for: anyone who builds or brings builders together, including developers, creators, developer advocates, community organizers and students. You don't need to be a student.
  • How to join: sign up at tinyfish.ai/ambassadors. You're a Referral Partner from day one, with your own referral link.
  • What you earn: $5 for you and $5 for each person you refer who starts using TinyFish, plus a gift card for every approved build on the Bounty Board.
  • How you grow: bring 50 qualified referrals in a quarter and you become a TinyFish Advocate automatically. Standout Advocates are invited to become Regional Ambassadors.
  • Your dashboard: TinyBounties is where you claim bounties, track your progress, see the leaderboard and request events.

What is the TinyFish Ambassador Program?

The TinyFish Ambassador Program is a community program for people who build with TinyFish and bring others into the agentic web. TinyFish is a set of APIs that let AI agents use the live web: Search, Fetch, Agent, Browser and Monitor.

Ambassadors contribute in whatever way suits them:

  • Building: agents, Skills, templates, demos and cookbook recipes on the Bounty Board.
  • Events: hack nights, workshops, meetups and hackathons that bring builders together.
  • Content: posts, videos, threads and tutorials about what you've built.
  • Community: welcoming newcomers and helping them ship their first thing.
  • Intros: connecting TinyFish with teams and builders who'd genuinely benefit.

It all counts, and the more you put in, the more you're recognized and rewarded.

How the Ambassador Program works

Everyone starts in the same place and rises by impact, not by applying.

TierHow you get thereWhat you get
1. Referral PartnerSign up at tinyfish.ai/ambassadorsYour referral link, $5 per qualified referral (and $5 for them), gift cards for approved builds, a spot on the leaderboard
2. TinyFish Advocate50 qualified referrals in a quarter (automatic)Everything above, plus a higher reward rate, a verified Advocate badge, Hall of Fame listing, office hours, beta access and a say in what TinyFish builds
3. Regional AmbassadorBy invitation, for standout Advocates leading locallyEverything above, plus event funding, a direct line to the TinyFish Engineering and Growth teams, and career support

Tier 1: Referral Partner (everyone starts here)

The moment you join, you get your own referral link. Share what you're building and bring people in to build with TinyFish.

What you get:

  • $5 for you and $5 for each person you refer who actually starts using TinyFish
  • Access to the shared Bounty Board from day one
  • A gift card for every approved build
  • A spot on the shared leaderboard

Tier 2: TinyFish Advocate

Bring 50 qualified referrals in a quarter and you become an Advocate automatically. No application. To keep it, bring 50 again and host at least one community event each quarter, in any format you like.

What you get, on top of everything above:

  • A higher reward rate
  • A verified Advocate badge and title for LinkedIn, plus a LinkedIn certification after a successful quarter
  • A listing in the TinyFish Hall of Fame
  • Ambassador community office hours
  • Build logs credited to you by name, shared across TinyFish's channels
  • Beta access and a say in what TinyFish builds next

Tier 3: Regional Ambassador

Regional Ambassadors are invited, not selected by application. They're standout Advocates already leading a community in their region. Each quarter they recruit and mentor 10+ new ambassadors, host at least one event a month, grow an active regional community, and drive 250+ qualified referrals across their region.

What you get, on top of everything above:

  • A verified Regional Ambassador badge and LinkedIn certification
  • Event funding for your region
  • A direct line to the TinyFish Engineering and Growth teams
  • The strongest career support, including references and intros

What counts as a qualified referral?

A qualified referral is someone you brought in whose agent makes its first successful call to TinyFish (Search, Fetch or Agent), whether through a Skill, the API, MCP or the CLI. A click or an empty sign-up doesn't count. Real usage does.

That's also why accounts made with throwaway or disposable email addresses never count toward rewards or tiers.

How do Ambassadors earn from building?

Building is always rewarded but never required. Every approved build on the Bounty Board earns a gift card and adds to your leaderboard score:

Build typeGift cardLeaderboard points
Agentic app$5050
Agent Skill$2020
Prompt$1010

Every build that meets the criteria is approved, so there's no single winner, and several people can solve the same bounty. Approved builds are published in TinyFish's Build Logs under your name.

The one rule: no "sign up so I get paid"

Ambassadors never say "sign up and run this so I get paid." They say "look what I built" or "here's why this is genuinely useful." Nobody gets a script, and you're free to say what you actually think, in your own words and your own language. Rewards follow real value, never words for hire.
