TinyFish Programs for Students, Ambassadors and Startups

Whoever you are, if you're building on the live web, there's a TinyFish program for you.

  • Students get $35 in free credits and paid bounties.
  • Community builders become ambassadors, with event funding and a growing role.
  • Startups get up to $12,000 in value, higher rate limits and a direct line to our engineers.

Three programs, one idea: the people building the agentic web should have backing from day one, whether they're in a dorm, running a meetup or raising a seed round.

TinyFish's three programs: Student Program, Ambassador Program and TinyFish for Startups

Why three programs

We didn't plan three programs. We noticed three groups.

First, it was students. Some of the best builds on TinyFish came from people we'd never onboarded, building on TinyFish for projects that had nothing to do with class.

Then it was the people bringing others in. They ran meetups, posted build logs and shared TinyFish in group chats we'd never heard of.

Then founders started emailing us the same question: is there a startup program?

Each group needed something different. A student needs credits and a reason to ship. A community builder needs budget and recognition. A startup needs rate limits that don't break the week traction arrives. So we built one program for each, all on the same product.

For students: build something real while you're still in school

Who it's for: anyone with a school or university email, anywhere in the world.

What you get:

  • $35 in free credits in your TinyFish wallet when you sign up with your school email.
  • Bounties with gift cards. Pick a bounty on TinyBounties, build it, and get a gift card when it's approved. Your build is published under your name.
  • Campus Lead. Pull others on your campus in, and you get a budget from us to run events and a spot in the Hall of Fame.

The point is simple. When someone asks what you've built, you have something real to show them.

Join the Student Program. It's free with your school email.

For ambassadors: you're already doing it

Who it's for: everyone, student or not. If you run a meetup, a Discord, a newsletter, or you're just the person who tells your friends what you've been building, you're already an ambassador.

What you get:

  • Bounties and gift cards on the same board as students.
  • Event funding. If you host events, we fund them.
  • Advocate status once enough of the people you bring in are building too: a verified badge, a Hall of Fame listing, early access and a say in what we build next.
  • Regional Ambassador for the people running the community in their region, with a budget to match.

Nobody gets a script. Say what you actually think, in your own words.

Join the Ambassador Program. It's open to anyone.

For startups: the web part of your stack, solved early

Who it's for: independent teams still pre-production (Tier 1), and startups in an accelerator or backed by investors (Tier 2).

What you get:

  • Up to $12,000 in value: up to $7,000 on Tier 1, up to $12,000 on Tier 2.
  • 4x the rate limits on TinySearch and TinyFetch, which are already free for everyone.
  • Credits or 50% off TinyAgent and TinyBrowser, depending on your tier.
  • GTM help: your build story featured on our blog and socials, plus founder dinners and events.
  • A direct line to our engineers when you get stuck.

What they share

All three run on the same thing: TinyFish, one API that gives AI agents access to the live web. Search, Fetch, Agent, Browser and Monitor sit behind one API key and one wallet, and Search and Fetch are free for everyone.

That means you don't outgrow your program. A student who graduates carries on as an ambassador, and their history comes with them. An ambassador who starts a company can apply as a startup. A Tier 1 startup that raises can move up to Tier 2.

And the community is already big. As of late October 2026:

  • 4,290+ students have the $35 credit.
  • 1,090 members are on TinyBounties, building and earning.
  • 4,100+ people joined through ambassador referrals this quarter.

Which one is for you?

  • You have a school email: the Student Program.
  • You build in public, run events or grow a community: the Ambassador Program. You can be a student and an ambassador.
  • You're building a company on the live web: TinyFish for Startups.

Not sure? Start with whichever fits today. You can always move.
