Reintroducing TinyFish Products: New Names, Added Capabilities

Reintroducing TinyFish Products

Search is now TinySearch. Fetch is now TinyFetch. Browser is now TinyBrowser. Web Agent is now TinyAgent.

But that's not the only update!

We're expanding what you can do with TinyFish, adding capabilities for research, monitoring, data enrichment, and dataset creation alongside our core web infrastructure.

As of October 1, 2026, our products follow a consistent naming system, with the Tiny prefix and three categories: Access, Intelligence, and Identity.

Here's what's changing and what's new.

Reintroducing our four core products

Our four core primitives remain the foundation of TinyFish. They give AI agents access to the live web, from finding information and extracting content to navigating websites and completing multi-step tasks.

They now have names that are easier to recognize as part of the TinyFish platform.

  • TinySearch (formerly Search API): Find fresh information across the live web and retrieve structured search results.
  • TinyFetch (formerly Fetch API): Extract content from webpages, including JavaScript-rendered pages, into Markdown, HTML, or JSON.
  • TinyBrowser (formerly Browser API): Run managed cloud browser sessions for automation using Playwright, Puppeteer, or CDP.
  • TinyAgent (formerly Web Agent): Give an agent a goal in natural language and let it navigate websites, fill forms, and complete multi-step workflows.

Introducing more capabilities: Research, Monitor, Enrich, and Dataset

Alongside the renamed core products, we're expanding TinyFish with four additional capabilities designed to turn live web information into useful outputs.

TinyResearch: Go from a question to a cited report

TinyResearch searches and reads multiple web sources, then brings the findings together into a report with citations.

Instead of manually searching, opening pages, and combining the results, you can ask a research question and receive a source-backed answer.

TinyMonitor: Stay informed when something changes

TinyMonitor checks a webpage or search topic on a schedule and identifies changes that match a condition you define.

Whether you're tracking competitor pricing, new job listings, or product updates, TinyMonitor helps you focus on meaningful changes rather than every page edit.

TinyEnrich: Fill gaps with live web information

TinyEnrich expands incomplete records with additional information from the live web.

It supports workflows such as researching companies, validating business details, and adding context to existing contact or account records.

TinySet: Build structured datasets from natural language

TinySet turns a natural-language request into a structured, source-backed dataset.

Describe the information you need, such as a list of companies in a particular industry with their websites and locations, and TinySet searches across sources to assemble the results.

Together, these capabilities extend TinyFish beyond individual web operations to research, monitoring, enrichment, and larger data collection tasks.

Bringing everything together: Access, Intelligence, and Identity

With the expanded product family, we're organizing TinyFish into three categories.

CategoryProductsPurpose
AccessTinySearch, TinyFetch, TinyBrowser, TinyAgentSearch, retrieve, browse, and act on the live web
IntelligenceTinyResearch, TinyMonitor, TinyEnrich, TinySetResearch, monitor, enrich, and organize information
IdentityTinyVault, TinyProfilesSupport authenticated web access and persistent browser sessions

Our Identity products also follow the naming convention. TinyVault manages credentials for authorized web workflows, while TinyProfiles preserves browser session state across agent tasks.

The three categories provide a clearer picture of how the products work together, from accessing websites to producing useful results and operating across authenticated environments.

What this means for existing users

If you're already using TinyFish, the naming update doesn't require you to change your working integrations.

The four core primitives retain their existing capabilities. You'll see their updated names across our website, documentation, and other customer-facing materials.

Some dashboard labels, API endpoints, SDK methods, and package names may still use earlier terminology. Continue using the identifiers specified in the current technical documentation.

The additional Intelligence capabilities have their own availability and access conditions, including beta releases, which are covered in their respective product documentation.

Same foundation. More ways to work with the web!

TinyFish started with the core infrastructure AI agents need to search, retrieve, browse, and act on the live web.

That foundation remains. With TinyResearch, TinyMonitor, TinyEnrich, and TinySet, we're extending what developers and agents can accomplish with it.

The names are more consistent, the capabilities are growing, and the goal remains the same: make the live web accessible and useful to AI agents.
