ReportWhat do marketers ask about AI agents that existing content doesn't answer well?
Marketers in 2026 are caught between intense institutional pressure to adopt AI agents and a content ecosystem that is simultaneously over-hyped and under-detailed on the questions that actually matter for decisions. The most common questions—"What can an agent actually do?" and "Will it replace my team?"—are answered badly because most content is vendor-led, definitionally inconsistent, and focused on possibility rather than production. The deeper, harder questions—about measurement under autonomous action, GDPR compliance when agents access data at machine speed, what vendors hide in pricing structures, how the agentic web changes brand discovery, and what happens to marketing judgment when entry-level hiring stops—go largely unaddressed. The gap between adoption intent (60%+ of organizations plan deployment within two years [29]) and scaled production reality (roughly 10–17% have deployed meaningfully [18][29]) is itself a symptom of these unanswered questions. This report maps the full landscape of what marketers ask, what current content fails to deliver, and what decision-makers need to act with clarity.
