Senior Backend Engineer

I build backend systems from the ground up, designing APIs, writing production code, and building the infrastructure to run them at scale. Most recently at WEX, I led development of real-time credit and billing platforms, writing Java and TypeScript services that handled over 100K transactions/day with sub-second latency. I’ve worked across the stack: building async services, securing APIs, tuning database performance, writing testable code, and deploying safely with Terraform and CI/CD. My background spans Java, Spring Boot, Python, Salesforce, NestJS, Kafka, Databases, Redis, and AWS.
