Run GitHub Actions and repo tasks with AI, from one prompt.

ChatGPT and Claude can review code you paste in; TinyAgent is the AI that opens GitHub and does the repo chores. It runs or checks GitHub Actions, creates repos and commits files, and tells you what changed.

A real run, step by step

Prompt

Open the Actions tab of my repo tinyfish-demo. Tell me the status of the latest CI run, its job, each step's result and how long it took. Read-only: do not re-run or change anything.

TinyAgent session view on GitHub reading a GitHub Actions run and its steps, step list on the left.
TinyAgent reading the latest GitHub Actions run in a private repo: job, steps and duration.

From a busy repo to a short to-do list.

  1. 01

Name the repo and the job

    You
Say which repository, what to check or change, and what must not change.
    TinyAgent
TinyAgent opens GitHub in a real browser, signed in through your saved TinyProfiles session if the repo is private or the task needs write access.
  2. 02

    Let it work

    You
    Nothing.
    TinyAgent
TinyAgent reads issues, pull requests and Actions runs, or makes the changes your prompt allows, such as re-running a workflow.
  3. 03

    Act on the report

    You
Review the list and reply where needed.
    TinyAgent
TinyAgent returns what it found and every change it made, with links.

Work on GitHub from a chat. Or with the API.

Ask in chat. TinyAgent checks the repo.

Install the TinyFish plugin in ChatGPT or Claude. Public repos need no sign-in; for private repos or changes, sign in to GitHub once through TinyProfiles.

Use TinyFish to open the Actions tab of my repo acme/web. List the failed workflow runs from the last 7 days with the failing job and step, then re-run the latest failed run of the deploy workflow only. Do not change any files.

Set up ChatGPT or Claude

A daily triage report for every repo.

Call TinyAgent with each repository every morning and get open issues, stale pull requests and failed Actions back as JSON.

Triage a GitHub repo from one call:

from tinyfish import TinyFish, EventType, RunStatus

client = TinyFish()

with client.agent.stream(
    url="https://github.com/tinyfish-io/tinyfish-cookbook",
goal="""Read-only triage of this repository. Return JSON with open issues and open pull requests (number, title, author, last_updated), and the 3 that most need a maintainer's attention with a one-sentence reason each. Do not comment, label or close anything.""",
) as stream:
    for event in stream:
        if event.type == EventType.COMPLETE and event.status == RunStatus.COMPLETED:
            print("Result:", event.result_json)

Runs are billed at $0.016 per agent step.Read the docs

What people use it for.

These are the GitHub jobs people give TinyAgent most often. Public repos need no sign-in, and TinyAgent changes only what your prompt allows.

For small engineering teams

Run and check workflows

No release engineer to watch the builds? TinyAgent triggers the workflow you name, waits for it to finish and reads the result or the failure. In the run above it read every step of the latest CI run without changing anything.

Try

Run the test workflow on main in acme/web, wait for it to finish and tell me which job and step failed, if any.

You get: The run's status and duration, plus the failing job and step if there is one.

For founders and builders

New repositories

Starting a project from a chat? TinyAgent creates the repository with the name, visibility and settings you give it, so your code has somewhere to go.

Try

Create a private repository called acme-landing with a README and a Node .gitignore.

You get: The repository link and the settings it used.

For maintainers

Commit file changes

A version bump or a README fix should not need a local checkout. TinyAgent creates or edits the file and commits it to the branch you name. Check the Actions result in a separate run.

Try

In acme/web, set .nvmrc to 20 and commit it to the branch chore/node-20 with the message “Bump Node to 20”.

You get: The commit link and the files it changed.

For reviewers

Pull requests and checks

Know where a pull request stands before you open it. TinyAgent reads its checks, and marks it ready for review or updates its description when your prompt allows it.

Try

Open pull request #42 in acme/web and tell me which checks failed. If all passed, mark it ready for review.

You get: Each check with its status, and any change it made to the pull request.

  • TinyFish is the one layer I actually keep in the stack when I need live web, not another chatbot pretending it can browse. Search, Fetch, Browser, and Agent sit under one API, so I am not wiring Exa for search, Firecrawl for markdown, and Apify for the messy pages.

  • It is super fast! After onboarding it was very easy to get setup. The starter credits that were given were plenty and each search and fetch were free while agent mode provided a good bang for your buck.

  • I use TinyFish for hackathons and side projects to scrape websites and provide LLMs with precise context, and I love its speed, accuracy, and the fact that it's fast, cheap, and good. It can return information quickly and accurately from links inside websites or from specific links.

  • What I like most about TinyFish is how well it handles web-based sources that are hard to reach through conventional APIs.

  • The configuration is very simple and it supports MCP, making it basically ready to use out of the box.

  • TinyFish is the page-scrape layer I actually trust after a search API. I run Tavily for broad hits, then TinyFish run-sse against a specific URL with a goal — Gensyn docs, DoraHacks briefs, GitHub orgs, hackathon portals — and it returns extractable text instead of “10 blue links.”
    Henry M.Community Associate - Computer SoftwareRead on G2 ↗
  • I hand it a URL and get back clean Markdown instead of a wall of nav bars, cookie banners and ads, which cuts my token cost on every LLM call downstream. Search and Fetch being free is genuinely rare — everyone else meters exactly this.
    Alessio B.Web Developer - InternetRead on G2 ↗
  • TinyFish has become my default web layer inside Claude Code and OpenCode. The MCP connection was easy to set up, and I was running searches and fetches within minutes.

  • The standout feature of TinyFish is its unified, production-ready web agent architecture that replaces fragile scraping scripts with resilient, human-like browser navigation and multi-step workflow execution through a single API
